Mountain Data Set:

Point location data, including latitude and longitude, were extracted from Google Maps and formatted for compatibility with ArcGIS Online, where they were uploaded for visualization and integration with other spatial datasets. Additional point/mountain data was scraped from Ski Central Website as well as independent mountain websites.

County Data Set:

Polygon data was downloaded from the U.S. Census Bureau using TIGER/Line Shapefiles as well as the U.S. Census Bureau, 2019–2023 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates for population, age, and income.
